Appointment Booking App for Shopify

The Appointment Booking App by The Shop Ninjas makes it super easy to handle all of your appointments and customer messages. And most importantly, it helps to manage all your bookings with ease directly from your Shopify store. No stress and no confusion. Just smooth scheduling.

The First Steps To Set Up Your Booking App

Right before you jump in, make sure that you have:

  • A Shopify store where you’re the admin
  • The Appointment Booking App installed from the Shopify App Store

Step 1: Launch the App

Once the app is installed:

  • Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize to enable the app on your store’s frontend
  • The radio toggle button lets you easily enable the Appointment Booking App.
  • Go to your Shopify Admin dashboard.
  • From the left-hand menu, click Apps > Appointment Booking.
  • You’ll land on the app dashboard with two primary actions (View Bookings and Manage Products/Services)

Step 2: Configure Your First Service

  • In the sidebar (left-hand menu), click Services.
  • Click the pencil icon to edit a service or create a new service.
  • Configure the service using the following options:
  • Service Duration (Hours/Minutes)
  • Meeting Venue: Choose from Address, Phone Call, Google Meet
  • Time Zone and optional Notes
  • Availability Options: Set days and times when the service can be booked
  • Save your changes

Step 3: Check And Manage Bookings

  • Go to the Bookings tab.
  • Use the sub-tabs to explore (Upcoming bookings, Past bookings, Cancelled bookings, Customers: Overview of all customers who booked)
  • Each table provides filtering, sorting, and customer-level details.

Step 4: Appointments on the Product Page

Once your service is active:

  • On the product page, the standard Add to Cart and Buy Now buttons are replaced by a Book an Appointment button
  • A calendar pops up when they click it
  • Customers select their preferred date and time for the appointment
  • After a slot is selected, the Add to Cart button appears inside the pop-up
  • The customer can then proceed to checkout with their selected appointment

Step 5: Sync Google Calendar (Optional)

  • Go to the Integrations tab.
  • Select Google Calendar
  • Click Connect and log in with your Google account
  • Authorize the app to sync your bookings with your calendar
